Outgoing Mail

In American warfare vernacular, outgoing mail is a term for friendly artillery intended for the enemy. Here at Tigerbait, it's a you tube to get you in the the right mood about the Tiger's whipping their next opponent and just getting out of the office for the weekend. I give you: Seven Deadly Sins by Flogging Molly.



I was all set with another video and post, then I remembered the approaching holiday. And, I had just seen Flogging Molly a week ago. If you haven't seen these guys play a show live, you're missing out. I mean it. If you even kinda sorta like this music, make it a point to see these guys the next time they come around. And then go drinking with them afterwards. Great musicians and great guys to have a pint with.

LSU has only a couple of deadly sins in baseball (baserunning, spotty pitching). But they'll have to repent of these if they want to have a season like last year or better. And now's the time for it with conference play starting tonight. In the end, I think the Tigers will get on track and we'll be happy. It's early and this is how a lot of baseball goes, sketchy early, solid later.

The Tigers take on Kentucky in the SEC tournament at noon. I'll be watching (sometimes I love my weird job). It'd be so sweet to beat UK twice in a season in basketball.

It'd be even nicer if the baseball team sweeps the Wildcats in baseball and we end UK's NCAA hopes this afternoon. There's never anything wrong with a beatdown like that while celebrating part of my heritage and drinking lots of beer and whiskey.
