Outgoing Mail

In American warfare vernacular, outgoing mail is a term for friendly artillery intended for the enemy. Here at Tigerbait, it's a you tube to get you in the the right mood about the Tiger's whipping their next opponent and just getting out of the office for the weekend. I give you: This Is a Sight We Had From the High Mount by Maserati.

Kinda obnoxious title, I know. Don't bother waiting on any lyrics, it's all music. And what awesome music it is. It's a little psychadelic, a little prog rock. But it's rock. They put on a great live show and I'm excited as all hell to see them return to Baton Rouge this month. And you talk about killer driving music. Or whatever, you can put a cd of theirs on and never touch it, it's that good front to back.

The baseball team welcomes Illinois to Baton Rouge this weekend. I know nothing of Illinois baseball, but I've never heard anyone but Ohio State and Michigan make noise in the Big Ten, so I'm going to assume LSU is better than these yankees and should sweep them.

As everyone expected, the Tigers experimented with their pitching in the midweek game, to mixed results. Poseur over at And The Valley Shook has been doing an excellent job keeping up with this facet of the Tigers.

Some friends of mine were banned this week from future LSU athletic contests. It was a kinda sorta what they did deal. They were banished not by LSU, but by the rest of us. First time in a long long time they go to a game (Vandy bball) and the Tigers lose. So, you can believe what you read elsewhere about defending big men, Thornton and Taz having an off night, officiating, whatever. The reason LSU lost is because of my friends. We apologize and promise this will not happen in the future.
