Tiger men's basketball team is 9-1 after dropping one to Texas A&M on Sat then hanging on to beat McNeese State last night. LSU still has yet to play a nationally ranked opponent, but they've won the games they were supposed to win. And the A&M game was closer than the score indicates. Terry Martin is in the doghouse - apparently he's not a team player.
LSU baseball is the preseason #1 in the country. I guess I might now be allowed to say LSU baseball is back?
The football team is departing Christmas Day for Atlanta.
Tyson Jackson is the football team's MVP for 2008. Really? OK. I would've thought Charles Scott.
Lots of recruiting options to close out the 2009 class. All of them good. ATVS has a good overview.
LSU recruited DeAndre Brown last year, but when it looked like grade issues were going to be a problem, he signed with Southern Miss. He had a horrible injury against Troy in the New Orleans Bowl. If you're a puker, pull that trashcan nearby.
