Outgoing Mail

In American warfare vernacular, outgoing mail is a term for friendly artillery intended for the enemy. Here at Tigerbait, it's a you tube to get you in the the right mood about the Tiger's whipping their next opponent and just getting out of the office for the weekend. I give you: Werewolves of London by Warren Zevon.

This is one of the greatest songs ever. Not great in the way of Pink Floyd, but great in that it's just kick ass and fun. But last week's song and this week do have great lyrics in common. "You better stay away from him. He'll rip your lungs out Jim. Heh. I like to meet his tailor." How can anyone not like this song? Who hasn't howled along with it post alcohol consumption? Hell, I don't even wait, I howl to it all the time. If you're gonna sing it, sing it you know? I don't think anyone will argue when I say this is the greatest song about werewolves ever, bar none and it ain't close.

Some trivia, Zevon lived in New Orleans until his death just a couple years ago. He was a big fan/afficionado of NOLA and by all accounts, one cool cat.
