Outgoing Mail

In American warfare vernacular, outgoing mail is a term for friendly artillery intended for the enemy. Here at Tigerbait, it's a you tube to get you in the the right mood about the Tiger's whipping their next opponent and just getting out of the office for the weekend. I give you: The Road Goes On Forever sung here by Robert Earl Keen.

The LSU Tigers are headed to Omaha and so are some of my friends. I wish I was making the trip since I hear it's a great time. I figured this summed things up quite well. And if you ever get a chance to see Robert Earl Keen, do it. I never fail to have a good time at his shows.

LSU keeps picking up commitments. Head on over to And The Valley Shook to see what Pittman thinks. Myself, I can't get geeked over recruiting until I actually see the kids in action or it's a big name. I'm talking to you Jamarcus McFarland. How can you have a name like that and not come to LSU? Doesn't hurt that the guy is supposed to be one of the best defensive tackles this year.

Jeffrey and I have some amazing, mindblowing material coming your way. I might throw down on scheduling again since it's become an issue since I last talked about it (4th point down). I'll also have an essay or two on the bcs and spring game redux. Also, I plan to kill time by reviewing the bowl games (or any other footage I can get my hands on) of some major contenders (UGA, UF, Ohio State) and giving you my thoughts on their future. And Jeffrey will contribute something on diapers and baby stuff.

If you care to have some fun, head on over to this Alabama site. It's a site Tahd fans started for high schools kids to get in touch with the Capstone. LSU fans have found it and I'm sure nothing but sincere and truthful information is being added at this very moment. Go help out.

Also, my life is made better right now by the Squidbillies on Cartoon Network and Ninja Warrior on G4. Squidbillies is making fun of rednecks, yes, but you actually have to have a bit of that heritage to really enjoy the humor. And it's only 15 minutes. So just tivo and enjoy yourself. Ninja Warrior is just pure fun, and the translations of the crazy Japanese announcer are hilarious.

  1. robert earl is definitely a good time. when i saw him a few weeks ago he told the crowd that his music could not be labeled as country b/c he doesn't wear leather pants and have "frosted tips." i enjoyed this shot at the gayness of new nashville country.

  2. yeah, nashville country is pop music with a twang or accent. Texas music is where it's at. WIllie, JJW, old Jack Ingram, REK...
