Not a bad Saturday for LSU sports. The football team had what appears to be a very successful Junior Day, accepting two more very high quality commitments. And the baseball team emptied the roster in a 25-8 rout of Centenary. The only thing missing was 2 points. LSU men's basketball came up one shot short in a great effort against Mississippi State. The Bulldogs hit a 3 pointer with 5 seconds left to retake the lead for good - 60-59. That's 12 straight SEC losses. Have to admire how hard the Tigers are playing. It cannot be easy to lose every game, some of them very close, and remain motivated to play really hard. Hope the men get a win before the season ends.
