Outgoing Mail

In American warfare vernacular, outgoing mail is a term for friendly artillery intended for the enemy. Here at Tigerbait, it's a you tube to get you in the the right mood about the Tiger's whipping their next opponent and just getting out of the office for the weekend. I give you: Cure For Pain by Morphine.



Morphine is one of the great forgotten acts from my college years, the late 90s. It's a shame about Mark Sandman, but at least he went out on stage. As to Morphine, the music could be so languid and rich, but the lyrics and song itself so pointed and stark, all from a three piece outfit. And this song I think is a great embodiment of this. It also fits in our summer grove, just waiting around for football.
