Outgoing Mail

In American warfare vernacular, outgoing mail is a term for friendly artillery intended for the enemy. Here at Tigerbait, it's a you tube to get you in the the right mood about the Tiger's whipping their next opponent and just getting out of the office for the weekend. I give you: Apossibly by Apex Theory.



Apex Theory is a great outfit from California. They had to dump their one original member, but the trio reformed now as Mt. Helium. They still rock and bring a unique sound because of two of the bandmate's Armenian heritage. Check out their first album Topsy Turvy. Really solid rock album.

Lots going on here in beautiful Baton Rouge. Southdowns parade tonight, the same time as the first LSU game in the Box. Lessee: the parade is free, I get to enjoy a huge outdoor party with friends and there's always that seductress, drinking in public. Or, the LSU baseball game, the first in the New and Improved (possibly the first time that phrase is actually technically correct) Alex Box. Someone just won an auction on eBay for a pair of tickets to that for $710. Hmmmmmmmmm, either one is a great choice as the weather is gorgeous and will be fine tonight. I think you know which direction I'm leaning here.

And to take a closer look at the issue of the open container and such. I really feel sorry for most of the rest of the country. Here, we have about ohhhhh, anywhere from 0 to a million days you can walk around with an adult beverage without fear of reprisal. I say a million because there's:

8 LSU home games
8 Saints home games
St. Paddy's day
x amount of Mardi Gras parades.

And I'm not a lush that lives for days like those. It's just funny how society down here embraces it on those days and just let's it slide. That's what I mean about feeling pity for places that don't celebrate every dang holiday and sporting event like we do. Because if you haven't done the math, those days also entail fun times and good food. How does the rest of the nation live with itself?
